"I can smile, whistle, sing, swallow, and chew raw crunchy vegetables again."
I would first like to thank you all at the Riordan Clinic for doing the research to help us to heal. I found your clinic through the clinical trial on Epstein-Barr (EBV) and high dose vitamin C, A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with late-onset generalized myasthenia gravis (MG) stage 4b. I wanted to know the underlying trigger. The doctors said it was unknown, perhaps a virus. I began reading everything I could on Pub Med about MG, autoimmune pathogenesis, and treatments. I found a clinical trial by Michael Pender, MD out of Queensland about Epstein-Barr, CD+8, Vitamin D. He stated that MS as well as Lupus and RA are triggered by EBV. He also listed a number of other autoimmune diseases that could also be triggered including MG.
I had myself tested for EBV and my antibody levels exceed the top range measured. I searched for a treatment to lower my viral load, and again thank you, there was your trial. It was the only treatment for EVB in the entire Pub Med data base! I found a NMD that started me on Myers cocktails, slowly increasing the IV vitamin C to 75 grams - twice a week for just over 4 months, The Infectious Disease doctor then ran the quantitative EBV test and I had no detectable EBV at the levels tested. I also raised my vitamin D levels from 24 to 72 during that time. My MG symptoms are under control, I can smile, whistle, sing, swallow, and chew raw crunchy vegetables again.
I just watched your Food as Medicine presentation and... for the last eight months I have been doing just what you presented. Raw fruits and veggies, protein shakes, fish and chicken. You didn't mention organ meats. I've included chicken liver and hearts. After 40 years my IBS symptoms are gone. I tested gluten for two weeks in May eating it three times a day. No symptoms. I then bought a carton of cottage cheese, and didn't react. I'm back on the autoimmune paleo diet to continue the healing process. I continue to have IV vitamin C every week. Again thank you all so much!
"...It was about time to take some action..."
In late 2011 my PSA numbers were rising. I had already been diagnosed with prostate cancer by way of needle biopsy. Aside from my regular appointments with my urologist here in Harrisonburg, I had several appointments with a doctor in Charlottesville, VA who specializes in prostate cancer and also with one in Ventura, CA. I was also in contact with the Riordan Clinic, following online seminars and so on, so I also consulted with Riordan's Dr. Hunninghake by way of telephone. I told him that my urologist and I thought it was about time to take some action on my prostate cancer. I told Dr. Hunninghake that we were considering radiation therapy with equipment that carefully refocuses on the prostate gland following every possible move of the gland during treatment. I asked Dr. Hunninghake about using liposomal vitamin C during the therapy. My recollection is that he approved of this proposal and encouraged me to do it. But my radiologist administering the radiation treatment vigorously disapproved of my using any antioxidant during the therapy or afterword because he thought it would protect the cancer cells. But I insisted on taking a tablespoon of liposomal vitamin C each day during and after the therapy. My understanding was that the megadoses of vitamin C would protect my healthy cells from the radiation but function as chemotherapy in my malignant cells. The outcome of that therapy was very satisfactory. I had very marginal side effects from the radiation, the primary one being inhibited urine flow. Tamsulosin daily relieves that problem. My PSA went down to below 1 and has stayed there ever since. I very much appreciated Dr. Hunninghake's encouragement to use liposomal vitamin C during and after that therapy. But I need some help with my type II diabetes.
"...The improvement to my health is noticeable and measurable...."
“Well worth the cost. The improvement to my health is noticeable and measurable. I was surprised by the nutritional testing. I was taking the right supplements for my chronic condition, but not enough to register improvement. I also had the food sensitivity testing. It was eye opening. Once I started avoiding or limiting my trigger foods I again, saw improvements. Food is medicine.”
"I just keep improving in my health overall..."
"I came to Riordan Clinic on June 20, 2016 with my list of what I would like to improve in my health. At 1 st I went to Galichia Group to find out why my heart would jump from 48 bpm to 130 bpm in 4 seconds, and my BP was perfect. Galichia provided a 24 hour heart health monitor and echo cardiogram and came to the conclusion that nothing is wrong.
But they did offer me a prescription medicine which I refused, as I try to refuse and still don’t take prescription medicines. Riordan Found out I have MTHFR at my cellular level from food sensitivity. I used to get heart burn twice daily which I would take Zantac for.
I no longer get heartburn. I’ve had numbness in my left great toe and right side foot for years which I’ve had to monitor carefully. I now have full feeling in both my feet. My husband and I dance ballroom and swing dance as our hobbies; and I used to get short of breath after 1 dance and now I can dance several before getting sob.
I just keep improving in my health overall and am excited to see what I could possibly improve next just thru better food choices as I continue on my journey."

"Life is a round trip"
My name is patient K. I have had a long acquaintance with the clinic. I remember when it was called THE BRIGHT SPOT FOR HEALTH. And that is truly what it has been for me and my loved ones. In dark times there was a bright spot that comforted me greatly. I would say the time span has been around 30 years.
One thing I have learned over time is that there are different ways of healing. Is longevity victory? If that is what one is expecting then how shallow the life has been. I also learned that there are many different types of cures, and here again comes that longevity thing. A cure does not mean that one will be made physically well. Instead I found the "cure" is to find peace and contentment as the cure of all regardless of the situation. And that is what the Bright Spot for Health did for me. My mother was diagnosed with glioblastoma (incurable brain cancer). I was working as a RN on a cancer unit and unfortunately knew the outcome. My mother made her decisions and we went from there. She did not want Hospice called in with strangers in and out of her home. She wanted visitors restricted because she wanted them to remember her as she was. I took the FMLA from work and was her sole caregiver. She was adamant about no Hospice and I agreed. We had a wonderful 100 days together and she was allowed to remain in the home she loved so much. She did see family members and enjoyed that. We did no surgery, no chemotherapy, and no radiation. Instead we did magnet therapy for her head and she took PolyMVA. And that was her saving grace. She never had one headache and no seizures. She was alert and talkative. Before we started the Poly MVA she was getting combative and not oriented. I was wondering if I was going to be able to give her the wish to remain at home.... My mother remained ambulatory and recognized her family and was allowed the opportunity to say goodbye. It was the easiest cancer death I ever saw. And most importantly, she was at peace with it all. I call that VICTORY.
Five years later I was diagnosed with the incurable inflammatory breast cancer. My prognosis was may be 2 years. I did no traditional cancer treatment. I did intravenous Poly MVA along with a detailed protocol and felt good. No pain and continued to work. I had a negative thermogram and hooray!!!!, I had stopped it and put it into remission. Then my beloved husband of nearly 30 years went into heart failure. Even after bypass surgery he was still in failure... He came to the center and along with a cardiologist his heart failure was totally reversed and he was in a normal range. He lived 5 years and actually died from one of the "super bugs" he picked up in the hospital. My beloved is in Heaven and our beautiful pet family which taught unconditional love and unconditional forgiveness that no two legged species could have shown the way.
My cancer came back with a vengeance and after 8 years of it I will be joining my loved ones within the month. We had a wonderful life and achieved true VICTORY by alternative medicine. We all won the greatest victory of all. LOVE, PEACE, CONTENTMENT. How can anyone ask for more than that? It was great just the way it ends.

"...My well-being is improving..."
"After some family members were having strokes, I pursued going the process of finding out where my health was. With in-depth blood studies I had significant issues I wasn't aware of. Knowing that my well-being is improving is a wonderful peace of mind."
"...I am back on track with energy."
"At age 67, I found myself going downhill energy wise. Go to bed tired, get up tired. My doctor wanted me on a statin for high cholesterol and kept saying I was sick because of my sleep apnea. Started treatment at Riordan Clinic when tests showed my levels needed attention. No Vitamin C in my body, and low magnesium. Now 3 months into tests of IVC Vitamin C and supplements, I am back on track with energy."
