Nutrition Profile
Most of us know that eating a healthy, nutritious diet that includes fruit, vegetables, lean protein, and healthy fats is important for optimal health. However, for some people, diet alone may not be enough.
We all have different nutritional needs based on genetics, environmental factors, diet, lifestyle choices, and even the phase of life we are in. Some individuals are limited in their food choices due to allergies, a medical condition, or because they are following a vegetarian or vegan diet. Other groups may have additional nutrient needs due to age, because they are taking certain medications, or because they have a health condition that changes the way their body uses nutrients.
The Riordan Clinic Nutrition Profile identifies key vitamin, mineral, and other nutrient deficiencies that may compromise your health and well-being. Your test results will guide the lifestyle recommendations, food choices, and supplement changes necessary to address your unique nutritional needs.
