Lunch & Learn: How Hormones and Metabolism Shape Your Energy, Mood, and Wellness
Attend in person in Wichita or watch on YouTube
This event has concluded. You can watch the recording on YouTube.
Ever wonder why you’re tired even when you’re getting enough sleep? Or why your mood feels all over the place?
Dr. Drew Rose and Dr. Ron Hunninghake explore the connections between hormones, metabolism, and your overall wellness. They’ll discuss what hormones do in the body, how thyroid and adrenal function relate to energy and stress response, and why nutrient testing can reveal important information about your unique health picture. Learn which profiles make sense for different situations and how your biomarkers can guide your next steps.

Connection to Check Your Health
Check Your Health is our twice-a-year event where you can get comprehensive lab testing at accessible prices, with the freedom to choose what comes next.
We typically kick off Check Your Health with a Lunch & Learn. It’s our chance to gather with people who are excited about Real Health and want to understand what’s possible when you have good data about your body.
Our Bio-Center Laboratory team will be around after to help you schedule your Check Your Health appointment, figure out which profile makes sense, or answer any questions you have about the testing.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is this free?
Yes, lunch is included for in-person attendees. We do include a donation option to support our mission of offering education to the community, but it’s completely up to you.
-
Do I need to register in advance?
For in-person, yes. We tend to fill up pretty quickly. For YouTube, you can watch live or catch the recording after, but you’ll want to register if you’d like the handouts.
-
Can I watch from home?
Absolutely. We’ll livestream on YouTube. Just select “virtual” when you register, and we’ll send you the link.
-
Can I ask questions?
Yes. We’ll have time for questions from both in-person and virtual attendees.
-
Do I need to be a patient here?
Not at all. This is open to everyone—whether you’re already a co-learner at the Riordan Clinic, thinking about it, or just curious about what we do.
-
What if I can't make it but want to watch later?
Register anyway, and we’ll send you the recording along with the handouts.
-
Will you have handouts?
Yes. We’ll give them to you at the event if you’re in person, or email them to you if you’re joining virtually.
-
What about dietary restrictions?
We believe real health starts with real food. All lunches are organic, grass-fed, and grass-finished—the kind of nutrient-dense food that supports the metabolic and hormone health we’ll be talking about. We offer gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and vegetarian options so everyone can eat well.
