Tia Islam

Born and raised in Chetopa, Kansas, Tia relocated to Johnson County after college, where she dedicated 14 years to serving at the Johnson County Regional Police Academy, developing strong administrative, organizational, coordination, and de-escalation skills. Due to her desire to make a direct impact in people-centered environments, she made a purposeful transition into healthcare and now brings 15 years of experience in medical billing, patient coordination, medical records management, complex scheduling, and telemedicine support. Known for her organization, attention to detail, and compassionate approach, she is committed to creating seamless and supportive experiences in healthcare settings. Outside of work, she cherishes time with her three children—affectionately known as her “heartbeats”—and enjoys cooking, journaling, reading, and playing the piano.
