Thomas L. Taxman M.D. FAAP

Dr. Thomas Taxman is the co-founder and the President/Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology at the Institute for Women’s and Children’s Health in Lyndhurst, Ohio. He received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1980 and has been in clinical practice for 30 years. He is board certified in General Pediatics and Pediatric Gastroenterology. He has also served as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland since 1986. Through his practice he provides personalized comprehensive GI care, specifically directing therapies for correction and prevention of chronic disease. He is also a consultant in the Turning Point Pathway to Health Integrated Medical Clinic. He lectures nationally for various organizations and he recently co-authored, “Chemotheraphy and Functional Medicine in a Patient with Metastatic Breast Cancer”, in Integrative Medicine: A Clinician’s Journal.
