Living Well Program
Are you looking for direction on implementing a more holistic lifestyle, maintaining wellness, and preventing disease?
Our new Living Well Program addresses the needs of new patients who have not yet experienced a medical diagnosis but are wanting to focus on REAL HEALTH.
Designed for new patients seeking to:
Assess Their Current Health and Nutritional Status
Maintain Life-Long Wellness
Develop an Informed Plan for Lifestyle, Environmental, and Dietary Changes
Enhance General Wellness… and More!
*Complicated or chronic cases may need to utilize the Essential or Advanced Program for best results. Please call us to discuss and decide which program is right for you.
During your initial visit, your doctor will talk with you to learn what your long term health goals are, what Real Health means to you. You will discuss how lifestyle changes, proper nutrition, and daily supplementation will help you reach your long term goals. IV and clinic services may also be suggested as part of your ongoing wellness plan. In addition, the Riordan Clinic offers a wide variety of educational resources that are at your full disposal. This yields a highly customized holistic treatment plan that will put you on the path to better, and sustained health. As a patient at the Riordan Clinic, you will be fully involved in the discovery process of maintaining wellness.
Please plan on being on campus for up to one full day for your initial visit.
What to Expect:
Co-learners start by checking in at reception (in Wichita, this is Dome 1). At this time you will turn in the completed New Patient Intake Forms as well as relevant medical records from the last six months. A member from our clinic team will then greet you and take you to your blood draw and first appointment.
Laboratory Panels and Testing
Laboratory testing is essential to the process and is necessary to detect nutrient deficiencies, food sensitivities and screen for other major health issues. All new patients going through the Living Well Program will participate in the Foundation lab profile (see what’s included) which is an abbreviated version of the panel included in the Essential and Advanced new patient programs.
Although hormones are not included in the Foundation Profile it may be requested that you have those checked as well. The hormone panel most commonly requested is called the Lifecare Profile and includes key indicators affecting hormones. This profile is $389.
Our doctors use the results of this lab testing as a vital tool in discovering the root cause of your health concerns. Because laboratory testing requires fasting, we will have you meet with one of our experienced phlebotomists as your first step in the day’s schedule. Tests are performed through the convenience of our onsite Bio-Center Laboratory.
Initial Visit with Physical Assessment
Together with the doctor, you will spend up to ninety minutes, sometimes more, to review your health history and discuss any concerns regarding your health or personal goals. The doctor will also perform a routine physical examination. Based on your physical examination, health history, and symptoms, your doctor may order additional lab tests and will establish your individualized treatment plan.
Lab & IV Consultation
After meeting with the doctor or practitioner co-learners (patients) will talk with a member of our clinic team who will review the laboratory orders, IV nutrition plan, and other services suggested by the doctor. Our staff will also answer any questions that you might have throughout the process.
Everyone, no matter your health status, can benefit from IV Nutrition. Your body’s cells depend upon nutrients to fuel their energy producing biochemistry. IV Nutrition is the fastest way available to replenish chronically depleted nutrient reserves. As part of the Living Well Patient Program, co-learners will receive an IV infusion that will include a variety of nutrients customized based on their nutritional needs. This initial IV will contain up to 25 grams of Vitamin C and other nutrients. Learn more about IV Vitamin C.
Supplements and products
As a participant in the Living Well Program, you will receive a free 60 count bottle of Riordan Clinic’s multi-vitamin, MitoForm, as well as a free bottle of VitaChek-C Strips.
MitoForm is formulated to boost mitochondrial reserves and jump-start cellular energy production. This has been shown to increase energy production and at the same time, recharge the primary cellular antioxidant pools of vitamin E, C, and glutathione. It also contains key micronutrients and phytonutrients including green tea, broccoli seed extract, and resveratrol to protect the mitochondria and continually renew the cycle of energy production.
VitaChek-C Strips have been exclusively created by Riordan Clinic for in-vitro measurement of urine Vitamin C and contains 50 test strips. Start by testing early in the day before eating or taking nutrients. Test again after breakfast and then again in the afternoon. Test a final time right before bed. The test strips are designed to be a fast and simple way to check your nutrient levels of Vitamin C daily so that you can adjust your diet or nutrient regimen accordingly.
Based on your initial appointment your doctor will likely suggest other supplements for you to take and may adjust that list on your first follow up when they review your lab results. We offer several sale and opportunities to purchase products at a discount throughout the year so make sure to follow us on Facebook and open emails that you receive from the Riordan Clinic.
Return Appointment with Lab Review
Lab results take approximately ten business days to return. Before you leave on your first day we will ensure that you are scheduled for your first return appointment which will be used to review your treatment plan, check progress and discuss lab results. This appointment is included in the cost of the Living Well Program.
The Living Well Program cost is $1,995. This includes your initial doctor’s appointment, IV Nutrition up to 25g, two supplements (MitoForm and VitaChek-C strips), your first return appointment where you will review your lab results, and the Foundation lab profile as outlined above.
After meeting with your doctor and discussing your individual health needs, additional labs, clinic therapies or services, and supplements may be recommended at an additional cost to the program. Information regarding insurance coverage and payment options can be found on our Payment FAQs page.
How does the Living Well Program differ from the Essential Program?
For more than a year we have been dividing potential patients into the Essential and Advanced Programs. While speaking with co-learners we saw a need to create a new entry point that was focused on sustaining wellness. The Living Well Program is for people who want to address their health and make pro-active decisions to maintain health before an illness arises.
- The Essential Program offers more lab testing and is designed for someone who has been diagnosed with a long term issue.
- The Advanced Program offers everything that the Essential Program does as well as more IVs and an additional appointment with the doctor (that we call the Exit Interview). Someone who has been fighting a chronic condition such as cancer or Lyme disease would fall into the Advanced Program.
Take the first step to better health: schedule your appointment today! Give us a call, or use the form below, and we’ll walk you through scheduling your first appointment and answer any questions that you might have. Please note that the Living Well Program is not designed for someone with specific or diagnosed medical concerns. Our New Patient Coordinator can walk you through the decision of which program will best prepare you for success and let you know if you qualify for the Living Well Program.

Over the next several months it will be important to implement the nutrition and lifestyle changes, supplement recommendations, follow-up appointments and clinic services that your treatment plan outlines. By taking an active role in your recovery, you will understand the systemic causes of your illness better, thus enacting a positive impact on your health.
Food as Medicine Course
All new patients will receive a flash drive with a recording of the Food as Medicine course as well as a digital copy of the textbook. The in-depth course will connect the dots and address some fundamental questions behind how our diet impacts our health and well-being and how it contributes to the progression of chronic disease. If you would like to attend this class in person, it is offered once a month at our Wichita campus. Learn more about this course.
